A very comfortable alternative to a mouse
1 of 1 found this helpful Setup is easy, simply pop the ball into place, plug into a USB port, and you're away. No batteries to worry about. Easy.
The software (I downloaded latest version from the Kensington website), is an optional easy install to get the most out of the functionality of the device. It works just fine without bothering with this step in Win7.
I found using it very strange at first, and after a little while built up the muscle memory to make using everything fine without frustration. I found the scroll wheel much more comfortable to use than the one on a regular mouse. My hand remains comfortably in place on the added wrist rest, and using the device is easy with just a couple of fingers. Without the claw-hand fatigue of a mouse.
I like the fact I can use my thumb to operate the right-click button (I'm a leftie), so no more annoying wrong clicks for me. I also like how the cursor remains exactly where I leave it, so no more hunting for it if the mouse gets moved, as used to happen. I find it's great for internet, desktop & office apps. I have no idea how this would perform for gaming. My guess is that it would depend entirely on the dexterity of the user.
In general I'm very glad I bought this, and laugh when I think why I didn't get one sooner.

Great for Leatherman Surge multi-tool
1 of 1 found this helpful I don't own a jig-saw, I bought these blades because of the T-shank I knew would fit in the saw holder of my Leatherman Surge multi-tool. As it turned out, these blades are a perfect fit. No rattle, and the right length to enable blade to be properly folded away (unlike other similar Bosch blades that are a little too long).
I have no idea yet how long they'll last, though of course they will only be used for small hand-tool jobs, and won't face any real hard wear. They'll work just fine for my needs, and the plastic storage box they came in is a nice bonus. I paid far less than their worth to me, and that makes them a great bargain while expanding the utility of my Leatherman Surge.

Extremely good value DIY tool
I'm no professional electrical engineer, I bought this kit mainly for the croc clips for light to medium use, and reasoned I may as well get a set with other probes (I don't even know the names of) too. Just in case, you know, right?
I find this kit very well made, and the form and fit is eminently suitable for my testing purposes. The price I paid makes an excellent bargain. And now I'm fully kitted out for most test situations. This is a great buy.
