3 of 3 found this helpful Very nicely constructed as expected from Martin. Very nice grain to the wood after I polished it lightly.
Did not care for the stock strings- stiff and overly bright in my opinion.
Changed to nylagut with a low G and that helped.
Tuners are lovely. Fret edges on bottom are very sharp- they will need polishing
Tone is a little dry but will open up with play. Volume is good
I dont think you can go wrong with this uke. I wish Martin made the same model in mahogany but thats another story

Easy player

This is an outstanding playing guitar- almost like an electric. Action was perfect
Tone is a little mid heavy for me but pleasant.
I will say this sounds almost as good as my partners 710 Taylor and handles just as well
Wonderful neck Just doesnt have the soul of a Martin- but that just me. This guitar is an amazing value
