KO MP-24 Star Saber
1 of 6 found this helpful Ok, so this is the KO of MP-24 Star Saber, and I have to say: It's pretty darn good.
It has the same heft and feel as the original MP-24, the joints actually feel stronger than the original- so that's definitely a plus- but there are some minor cosmetic differences to the KO:
1) Darker silver paint on the face (not exactly a bad thing).
2) The upper half of his feet are painted red VS the original's feet are 100% solid red plastic (again, not a big deal).
3) Overall, the blue, red, and yellow plastic used on the KO appears lighter than the plastic used on the original, so overall if you place this KO next to the original: The original's plastic is slightly darker (not a big deal either).
Overall, this KO might look like a cheap toy- but you have to keep in mind that the original MP-24 also looked like a plain, mostly plastic, cheap toy- so this is a KO of a toy that already looked like a cheap product to begin with (important to remember that)- so if you buy this, open it up, and go, "Wow, what a cheap looking piece of crud.."- take a look at the original- it's no different- they're both super-plain looking toys.
Now, it's important to note that even though the joints are stronger than the original, they still aren't strong enough to properly support the recently released KFC Simba (Victory Leo) Add-on toy- you'll still need some sort of extra upgrade to make the joints on the KO stronger. (just figured I'd let you know now VS having you discover that later)
But all in all: It's a solid KO, and I'd highly recommend it.
