Comprehensive and convenient set of durable tools at a good price.
This is a comprehensive set of good quality sockets and ratchets which is ideal for taking taking tout on site to any breakdown. used to be marketed under the Carolus banner but now in the mainstream Geodore Red range.
.
I have had a personal set for over 5 years which has been well used in mechanical service and has survived well. This latest set is for company use because the value for reasonable quality cannot be bettered, in my opinion

Excellent value and fit for purpose quality
Comprehensive kit for not a lot of money. Ideal for DIY use on a variety of engines. The finish is fit for purpose if you have time to engage the threads carefully and be gentle with the o rings which form the primary seal. Overall the finish is a little crude for professional and trade use. No chroming or tapering on the threads for quick make up, no metal to metal seals on the extensions and no ID stamping on the various adapters. I will also be oiling after use to avoid rusting in storage. Moulded case is well laid out with a secure fit for now. Inclusion of thread chasers for common spark plug sizes is a nice touch. I have used the gauge a couple of times on chainsaws and it has done what it said on the tin. Certainly a step forward from holding your thumb over the spark plug hole and guessing. Correctly diagnosed poor starting problem on one of the saws which has now had a top end rebuild and is a completely different machine. Consequently I am satisfied it was money well spent and I can see it being used fairly regularly.
