A fantastic look into 1950s and 60s East London
The stories of the people Jennie meets in Poplar are moving, numerous, and riveting.. She includes details of the living conditions as well as medical challenges she faces as a new midwife. I feel as though I lived with her through the scenes she describes from the prostitution in Cable Street to the Quayside tenements. If are watching the TV series, this is a great companion.

Great Way to Have a Desktop PC with a Laptop
Very handy way to taker an older, but still very capable, laptop and use it as a desktop machine in my home office. The Lenovo line was always meant as a no-nonsense office computer, and with enough RAM a couple of SSDs, and an external monitor (all dirt cheap these days), it makes a fine home computer. The docking station isn't utterly necessary in my case -- the T410 has ample ports -- but it makes for a neater installation. The docking station even has a Display Port for the external monitor, as well as VGA. The power supply plugs into the dock and powers the Lenovo, meaning fewer cords under my desk. I can remove the 410 with the push of a button if I want to use it as a laptop. I couldn't be more pleased; should have done this years ago.
