Buy this movie! Watch this move! You will not be wasting your time.
Glenn Close's performance in this movie is absolutely amazing. On reflection I realized that the greater part of her performance was facial expression. You can tell what she is thinking just by looking closely at her. My money is on her for the Oscar. It doesn't get much better than this. The rest of the cast are fine but my attention is always riveted on Glenn Close.

Louis Lortie is one of the finest interpreters of Chopin today. This CD is a good buy. I highly recommend it.

Cate Blanchett is the perfect Elilzabeth.
The plot is very well done and Cate Blanchett is perfect as Elizabeth. The movie is very well cast and directed.
