The Shadow of Man.
A remarkable film made even more so by the superb performances. Dealing with man's darkest shadows, his deepest fears, including Death & insanity. Brutal military discipline. The long walks thru the trenches are extremely stark. We can see & smell the misery the soldiers have to ensure. Because throughout the scene the shells & mortars are battering the trench to pieces. Beautifully directed. 10/10

Electrify
Sin City (a dame to kill for) is brutal, funny, obsurd & riveting. The dark & claustrophobic City embraces all who have there own shadows & dark secrets. When fear gripped them and made cowards. Those who's fantasy became reality and blood was spilled. Those who hid behind children. All here for a piece of the action. The woman to die for is as skanky as come. But her allure and subtle beauty are breathtaking. She smells good too. With 3D and a strong cast, this is one great movie. Especially if you want to escape for a couple of hours.

Powerful
Somehow this film has managed to stay under the radar for many years. The early to mid 1970's had many excellent films such as The Godfather-Excocist-French Connection etc were released so perhaps I can understand why. With such a strong cast and a gripping storyline this film is magnificent. The painstakingly in depth research is quite remarkable. Whether you believe the assassination was a conspiracy by the CIA/FBI or by lone gunman Lee Harvey Oswald, this movie will have you questioning your judgement. What I love about this film is every word, press release, actual footage has been proven to be 100% correct. With brilliant performances not only from Burt Lancaster & Robert Ryan, but all the actors, make this film work. The director is a triumph. He makes this movie tight, intense & provocatively irreproachable.
