A good device that does what it should once you get to know its hard control.

Its hand control is different from previous Humax recorders but all the functionality is there but using different buttons in some cases.
It does record four programs simultaneously with only three tuners. This works because Humax recorders can record two programs that are on the same multiplexer and then one on each of the other tuners. To ensure this always works, this box only allows three multiplexers to be saved. The trade off is that you do not get all the available channels but I seem to have all the important ones and I have not missed any that I have watched in the past.
All the good media functions of the excellent HDR FOX-T2 are here plus watching live TV on ones phone, tablet, PC etc on my local LAN. Other local media devices can also play recorded programmes
No problems found when using this device.

Does the job perfectly.
Neat cable which allows me to hide a usb stick which was protruding from the front of my Freeview recorder.

1 of 1 found this helpful The unit arrived bound in layers of bubble wrap and carboard which was then bubble wrapped again.
It was a surprise to find the mains plug had pierced the inner bubble wrap so that the earth pin was protruding. The plug top had made a dent in the unit's casing.
Must have had quite a bsh somewhere in transit.
The unit, however, does work properly and records and plays back faultlessly.
All the extras were there ie the hand control and the manual.
So I am keeping it!
