Low flow filter, be aware
1 of 2 found this helpful The filter I received looks like a GE original product and bears a GE logo, but it DEFINITELY does not function like a GE original product. When installed, the flow of cold water was very restricted and greatly decreased from all other time I had replaced the filter (my fridge is 10 years old, so that's MANY times). Very disappointing. I had hoped that it would get better as it was used, but that did not happen. My wife complained so much that I went to Home Depot and got a filter from them and as soon as it was installed, the flow of water was back to normal. So the product I got does work, but at a snails pace compared to the way it should work.
