Easy Battery Replacement
Comes with tools to open back of Kindle. This was easier than I expected. Undo two small screws using supplied screwdriver, replace battery and replace screws (is a bit fiddly as small screws and watch for two small metal washers beneath the screws. Back then clips into place. Honestly, if you’re worried about doing this, don’t be: the hardest part is removing the back in the first place and this just requires a bit of care and patience. My Kindle now has a new lease of life (battery used to go flat on standby in about 4 hours). You can get these cheaper but I think it’s worth paying the extra. Arrived faster than expected too. Can’t say what the long-term life of the battery will be like but seems to charge/discharge perfectly at present.

A Cost-effective Replacement
I worried a bit about this as it was coming from the Baltic States from a none-BMW dealer. I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be a genuine part. However, I cannot find any evidence to suggest this is not the genuine article and it fitted perfectly. The old unit had seized solid but this was easy to replace and the part worked perfectly from the get-go. Cannot fault it and it hasn't restored clarity to my back window!

Works but noisy
Fitted my Flymo multi-tool motor and was used to clear brush behind my partner's back fence.
Whilst it did the job, after a few minutes it became quite noisy. The blade had bent and was rubbing against the guard. I bent it back again with pliers and it worked ok again.
In my opinion, this does the job pretty well and it much cheaper than the 'genuine' manufacturer part; however, I suspect that the metal used for the blade is not of the same standard as the 'genuine' part. However, I still feel it was value for money and it looks like I can get and fit a spare blade if I need to. Buy this for relatively light work but for anything more, you may only get one use out of the blade, though it is replaceable.
