only quiet if you use adapter cable, run on 7v.

very quiet, only if you run on adapter cable, at 7v, full power settings no difference from cheep fans, fan speed to keep it running quiet no way near 1200 rpm, about 850 rpm in 7v mode, need two fans to keep a gamming pc cool, I have more than quad core cpu, but that should not matter. motherboard temp very stable, would like more air flow over my pc components, but that would mean more noise. my view is that they still run to noisy on full power.
