One of my favorite shortwave sets
This is a very small shortwave radio with amazing sound quality. The rubberized case has a great feel. It just exudes quality. Got this one to give to my in-laws who are going to sail across the Atlantic in their sailboat. My other favorite is also a Gundig (Yacht Boy).
Suggestion: download the manual (easily found online) and put it on your smartphone, to always have this with you on trips.

Thsi cable works well with the Yaesu FT-7900R. Used the Chirp software. Only minor scare: radio stuck in transmit, but unplug cable and OK!

Great antenna...
1 of 1 found this helpful We had taken down a satellite dish, and put the AR-270 on the mount. So far only using it on two meters, but the performance has been nothing short of amazing. This is a very wise investment if you enjoy two meters or 440. Improves your quality of life! Thanks to Bushcraft team for a great design and excellent craftsmanship...
