Worktop cutting

I bought an expensive, standard 3m length of worktop. All of the advice I could find detailed cutting by electric saw (which I don't have). I used masking tape and this saw to cut a chip-free edge. Much cheaper than buying another worktop .... or looking at a chpped edge for a long time! Worth every penny.

Excellent, but ...

Good for asthmatics and ventilation. Excellent fit and styling. Downsides? When fitted, kept triggering the anti-trap mechanism, despite leaving them to bed in. You can either guide the widow up by hand plus the mechanism or realign the deflector by gently pulling it out a little here and there. There were only 2 clips and minimal adhesive on each deflector. Mark II Tuning (the supplier) was really helpful - sending me extra clips free and this solved the problem. Maybe you can make clips from metal.
