great mp3 player, great price, great features
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as an upgrade to my current mp3 player which is also a philips.
First off its alot smaller than you think (which is a good thing)
feature wise its got all you could want from an mp3 player easy to use, looks good, 4 way directional pad, a centre play/pause button, settings so you change the sound mode, time/date, create play lists, limit the maximum volume level
The screen although small its easy to see the song titles etc(maybe to small for video despite it can handle up to 4 videos)
At 4gb it can handle around 900 songs!
Battery life? well i got it only today however ive been playing it on an off for about 4 hours and the battery hasnt even broken a sweat.
Although it comes with a nice set of in earphones, i used my own headphones, but the ones it comes are very good.
all in all if you are looking for a nice little mp3 player without loads of bells and whistles then look no further.
one gripe i do have but it is easy to sort is the usb cable its very short, from plug end to plug end its about 20cm. however if like me you have a few usb cables laying around (most people do) then one of those may suffice. if you happen to have an old philips mp3 then great like me you can use that cable, but this is a small gripe dont let it put you off this excellent little player.
