Replacement Secondary door locks
I bought these locks to replace those fitted to my Juliet balcony French doors. The old locks had become worn and were difficult to open. The removal of the old locks proved to be more of a problem than first anticipated due to the build up of paint over many years, however once out the new ones were easy to fit and worked perfectly. I had to make a few minor adjustments to the key hole on the door and had to shave a couple of millimetres off the plastic coating on the keys to ensure they fully engaged with the lock when fitted. Additionally I soaked the locks in WD40 before fitting and they now work as smooth as anything. Well worth the effort.
