A great way to sunset Gen 1 Yu-Gi-Oh!
This was is the first Yugioh game made for the Nintendo DS, but also the last game in the Gen 1 setting from the show and comics. But that setting goes out with a bang in this game.
If you play the Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game, then you know what the bulk of this game is going to be: A digital version of that card game. However, the story that establishes each card game, while simple, is compelling enough.
One thing that dose set the different Yugioh video games is the variety of cards. Some have more, some have less simply due to when they were made determining what cards existed (and in some cases, what some of those cards do). This game was made before the 2nd generation of the show (GX) got its first game, so don't expect cards that came out in 2007 and on.
All in all this is a great game for those looking for a yugioh game using only classic cards, just be aware however, that there is a glitch involving story progression that prevents you from completing your card collection. You can find more info about that online though.
