A very good tracker for the price
Very cheap and reasonably accurate. Battery life is probably up to 5 hours continuous use so not good for a full day's recording without recharging.
The instructions suggest you can adjust the time zone by editing a line in the CONFIG.TEXT file. This is true to the extent that the date & time recorded is changed, but it is still recorded as if it were GMT/UTC (Zulu) time. (The gpx standard specifies that date & time are GMT/UTC, but no specific UTC offset field is provided - a non-standardised comment field is the only way of recording this.) So beware that using the time offset facility will cause gpx readers to assume the wrong time.

Brings a new lease of life to an otherwise unusable radio.
4 of 4 found this helpful Brings a new lease of life to a radio that is virtually impossible to use without a display. The display itself is very good — the only issue is getting it installed which involves removing a lot of screws (not all the same size). The fiddly bit is in plugging in the ribbon cable which clamps into its socket — move the black plastic sides of the socket forward slightly to release the clamp.
