Bright LEDs. Great Plastic diffuser. Cheap metal surround
LEDs are BRIGHT. and fade on and off with remote.
Two colour temperatures - Cool BRIGHT white, and Warm Yellowish light, and everything in-between.
No instructions, in my box.
Remote is responsive, and hasten button press for on and off, and the unit quickly responds and dims as it does it, which is a nice touch. Remote also dims light, in about 6 - 7 steps. Remote also has one button press to recall 100% brightness and all the way to cool white. And has a little green LED on remote to acknowledge a button press. No "linking" of remote was need, as the remote work right away from the box, just needed two AAA batteries, as they won't supplied.
Plastic diffuser is a great flexible cloudy white, that diffuses the LED stripe inside, the four stripes inside are used to make the light, but because of the great diffuser the can't tell from the outside, and get a great even light.
The LED stripes themselves are screws down secure to the powder coated metal insides.
The silver surround around the diffuser, seems like thin cheap coated silver coloured metal, and lets the unit down in terms of Quality.
switching the unit on and off at light switch seems to keep last usage setting most of the time, and defaulting to 100% bright cool white, if say you switch the light switch on/off a couple of times too fast.
The whole unit and especially the remote "Feels" like a Chinese export, not sure how long it will last? Only had unit one day so far.

Would recommend.
Bluetooth cuts out sometime, heard newer version has not got same problem. They are nice and loud, and people say they can hear me fine, even though the mic is all the way back inside one of the ear bits.

These really work very well stripping all sorts of shapes of cable, crimping features and cutting surface is a nice added feature, feels well made In the hand and not too heavy. strongly advise Getting a pair.
