Cheaper than a salon but not easy to do alone
2 of 2 found this helpful It's not the same as getting your hair straightened at the hair salon but it is 1/6th of the price. $55 rather than $200-300 and 3 hours of your time. My hair's only relaxed rather than fully straight. I can't iron every strand of hair like they do at the hairdresser's so I'd recommend you get a friend to help you at home.

Lights up well when detecting motion
It works just as it should. When the sensor detects motion in the night, it lights up

Value for money, Clunky at first, Takes time to learn to use.
It isn't user friendly. I had to look up how to videos on youtube to really know how it worked and I tested it over 2 weeks to really know how it worked before trying it on my cat as I don't wanted to be sure it worked so she doesn't go hungry. So now I understand how it works, I am trialling it for a week while we are home and when we go away for one weekend, I'll be reassured that she'll get her food. It's a bit clunky to put together. I put the lid on wrongly at first and getting it off was more difficult than it needed to be. When it goes on the right way, it is easy to use. You can only put dry food in it not wet, but you can't expect too much when it was the cheapest one on the market at around $50. It'll save us on cattery motel fees for 1 night. I like how I can record a message to call her to come and eat when it's the right time and I like how it repeats the message 3 times but it isn't loud and you can't adjust the volume on it. The digital screen is hard to see as it isn't back lit and seeing the tiny little PM sign is difficult. It would be good if that was bigger. You can only set the time on it once and need to take out the batteries to re-set it. It's settings of clock and feeding times isn't intuitive but is do-able once you know how to use it. So all in all, it doesn't cost a lot and you get what you pay for in this instance. It works but is fiddly, you need to be patient while working it out as it takes time to get to know. You don't want your pet to go hungry if you've gotten it wrong.
