Awesome Skimmer
This Reef Octopus 202 is a work beast! It pulls plenty of skimmate from my reef system. using it on a 160 gal well stocked system and its more than enough to handle the total bio load. For all of you worried about the earlier version review regarding noise....Not at all an issue anymore . they have installed a silencer into the air chamber and it is super quiet now almost silent IMO. The robust gate valve makes fine tuning a breeze. Mine sits in 8-9" of water in the skimmer chamber of my sump and its more than sufficient. I have plenty of adjustment either up or down. Works best with the micro bubbles just above the bottom of the collection cup chamber. You will need approx 12"x12" minimum open space in your sump for this to sit in. Buy with confidence.

Awesome upgrade to your BCD
I really like the streamlined setup of replacing the inflator and hose with a combined alternate air source. I recently purchased the Air Source 3 for my wife's Aqua Lung Libra BCD. We could not be happier with the quality of the Air 3. Every part seems to be made of high quality materials. This is a direct replacement for most if not all current Aqua Lung BCD's and may fit others (not sure). The quick disconnect low pressure hose is the flexible braided fabric which i prefer and has started to gain much popularity in the dive community. The hose is supported to the sides and semi hidden beside the inflator hose by two low compression clips located mid length and at the top on the inflator hose body. This keeps this setup nice and neat. The end of the regulator body is of a semi soft rubber material for purging. The inflate/deflate buttons feel of high quality durable plastic with positive response when compressed. Installation is straight forward and took all of 10 seconds. Remove the old and install the new. Overall I think you will be happy with this product as a direct no hassle replacement/upgrade to your Aqua Lung BCD.

If you are looking for an affordable router that will get the job done than look no further.
