Unit works well in the shortwave/HF band...
Unit works well in the shortwave/HF band and similar at other freqs, you don't use direct sampling as it has a HF upconverter on board, you'll need to use the blog v4 driver which makes HF tuning seamless, just tune to freq you need. Tested with linux and GQRX. Of course: the antenna you connect is everything, poor antenna feed will only result in disappointment, a long wire outside and up high will greatly improve things. But I'm sure you heard this before... Do make sure you buy a legit unit.

Nicely made, good quality sound.
Very easy to use unit. Has feature that makes it scan for a quite radio frequency, which you then tune your radio at. Remembers that freq after power is removed, you can store 2 freqs in 2 buttons at the top of the unit which may be usefulif your drive into an area that swaps the freq you are on. You are able to pick any freq in the FM band you like though. Concealed Bluetooth pairing button sits flush on the back. Remembers what it last paired with as well. The display is normally blue but will go red if not paired. Has a magnetic holder. The 12V cigarette lighter power plug is light weight so it does not strain its mating connector on the car. There is a USB port to allow your device to stay on charge. Has mic and the regular phone answer button features. The large button on the front allows answer and hang up for the phone. It can also be used skip to next song by double tapping it, if your device supports that feature.

Works very well Ubuntu and Flightgear after compiling Opentrack-2.3.49.
Works very well on Ubuntu and Flightgear after compiling Opentrack-2.3.49 from source code. Makes it easy to look around your 3D environment. The infrared led clip comes with velcro straps which help you attach it to headphones. The camera has been modified to stop visible light but pass infrared. You'll still want to make sure no direct sunlight is in your headshot, as this will swamp the led o/p. It also helps to adjust lens focus so the leds are imaged as sharp a possible and have a smaller diameter. There is need to adjust led clip (and/or camera position) so the leds imaged in the camera don't collide for all the head movements you'd want to do. Opentrack lets to adjust how sensitive your head movement translates to X,Y, Z position/rotation. E.g. this allows for slight turning of your head causing in effect a 180 deg rotation, so you're looking behind you in 3D environ, but are still comfortably looking at your monitor. I needs 2 usb ports. Recommend this product, it will add a new dimension to your games/sims.
