Very handy protection for charging system and battery
This is a very well made little device. Two settings with a jumper mean you decide whether to focus on battery or alternator. Ideal

Robust and lusty performance
This is my second Motobatt yb14la2 replacement. The first lasted six years of daily use on my T300, 30000 miles commuting and holidays. It finally failed gracefully, struggling to start the bike because voltage dropped to 8v with the starter engaged. I think one of the cells failed but the others still good. So it would keep cranking but this is a bad thing on an early Hinckley bike, risking the sprag clutch. So I was very happy to go with another Motobatt
