A good basic phone for Old Codgers
I bought this for my dad - he had a fall one day whilst out and waited 40 minutes for someone to find him. At fast approaching 80 he has limited knowledge of mobiles - but still has all his marbles. This was ideal - basic and easy to use.

Remove the excuse not to phone home
I bought this for my daughter & son in law. They had just had a baby and their home phone worked erratically and mobiles did not work inside the house. This phone was just the right thing - it can be used while cradling a baby in one arm and is very clear and pratical. More to the point for all you mums out there - there is not excuse for the offspring not to call home!
