Glass for protection
You have to be extremely careful placing it, which we were. A few days later I looked at my watch and it had moved and was half on half off. Was able to slide it back across, but of course it had picked up some fluff down left hand side, but did not interfere with reading the watch but it has done this continually every few days or so. I whole therefore comment that it is not really fit for purpose

I have given this 5 stars and have showed it to many admirers already
Very life like, my brother lives in California and whenever he is over here he loves to see and hear the seagulls as they do not have any.
This one is winging its way over to him for Christmas and I know he will be delighted as it is so well made and looks so good
