Ceramic Inserts Solved Problem
This product has ceramic inserts that load easily and feed smoothly and, just as important, they will not develop a threat-cutting groove like bobbins with a metal lip can do. Ceramic inserts seem a simple, practical, inexpensive answer to a very annoying problem. So far, they are a pleasure to use.

Razor Sharp
Tying flies requires small cuts in tight places. These scissors do that perfectly. They are the sharpest scissors that I have ever used.

The fit and cleaned up my act.
Bee guards are essential, but they are hard to clean, primarily because I read somewhere that soap should not be used on any part of the feeder for fear of contamination. So, rather than tooth-brushing my old ones clean in warm water, I bought new ones. Extravagant? No, they were old and cracked. The new ones, while configured a little differently, fit perfectly and my busy, little, thirsty friends are quite pleased
