This trumpet is the model I was after, just as I had hoped, lovely tone, clarity and condition, it plays well with my own or the supplied mouthpiece. Nice simple gig bag and new USA valve oil included! I found myself straight away improvising on some pieces I hadn't tried before. The seller knows his stuff and made a real effort to make the instrument and purchase a pleasure.

How did I manage without this
This attachment does exactly what it says. You can cross drill round bar and get the hole straight and central and square to the axis every time. It took a fair bit of work to modify it, as my lathe has a 0MT tailstock, but has been well worth the time spent on it. If your lathe is 1MT you are on to a definite winner

Best microphone stand bag by far
Microphone stand bags take a pounding. Stands are heavy, bulky and awkward to transport, and after having tried many bags over the years these are looking the best so far. The fabric appears very robust - I've only used this bag half a dozen times in the two weeks I've had it, so it's early days but first indications are good. The stands fit in individual pockets which close with velcro fastened flaps - no more zips to break, and the stands don't move around inside, which has been a contributing factor to bag failure in the past, and the straps wrap right around the bag and support the weight well. If i had to find a downside, it is that my microphone stands are a tight fit in the pockets and at the end of a long night's work it takes a little time to get everything in place. Overall I am very pleased with the Cobra microphone stand bag.
