The seller sells console parts so they know what they did Missing screws I wanted. I suggest asking for pictures with this seller. There were no parts missing or swapped out. The unit was sold the way it was received- as parts, with nothing more or less implied. In so far as water damaged claim I cannot confirm that because I never got around to trying to troubleshoot the unit. I am also unsure of what the buyer means by 'good' parts as that is rather subjective.

Neo Geo AES, the Greatest the 16-bit Era
1 of 1 found this helpful Always wanted one of these consoles as a kid, but they were out of my price range, especially the carts. If you want one of these make sure you're getting a 3-6 revision board. The bigger the serial number the better. They're not very spectacular until you do the RGB bypass mod and I would highly recommend replacing the capacitors with a kit from Console 5. Also, do yourself a favor and install the Unibios 4.0. Highly recommend snatching one of these up if you're into retro gaming on actual hardware. Below are pictures of the Unibios installed, the white heat shrunk resistors for the RGB mod, as well as the capacitors that require removing. These how-to's are easy to find online and can be done with basic to intermediate solder skills.
