    Excellent Apple Compact Keyboard
This is the Apple Wireless Keyboard, model number MB167LL/A, which is the bluetooth board without the number keypad. Also known as the "Chiclet" keyboard, this is a well-engineered piece of kit, This will help keep your workplace less cluttered, while looking smart and hip, as most Apple gear affords. The keyboard takes a little time to get used to, but I was up to nearly full speed at the end of the first hour of typing with it. I rarely use the keypad on any keyboard, so the absence of the same with this one will not be missed, plus I like having the the little extra space. Only at tax season will I miss the number pad, and I can always swap input tools for the couple hour tax data sessions I will put in during this period. It might make sense to visit a local Apple reseller or retail store to try out this keyboard, but you can buy almost with impunity as, even on ebay, there is little difference between the average auction price and the retail price found at a Mac storefront. In short, great looks, great engineering and a solid value for a higher end keyboard.
Journal of the American Revolution: Annual Volume 2017(Hardcover)
    13 May, 2017
    JAR-2017 ed. is compelling reading
The series of essays on the American Revolution is at once compelling and an interesting take on various and seldom covered issues presented by the American Revolution. While there were many authors unknown to me, the quality of the writing and editing made for a great read. There was not a single weak presentation in the book. For the reader that enjoys everything about this time in our history, this book will be just the ticket for a casual but thought-provoking venture into lesser known aspects of the Revolution. I look forward to reading the 2016 edition soon.
Mac OS Sierra-Friendly Wifi Card w/ Screws, Screwdriver & Magnet Mac Pro 2006-12

    Sierra-Friendly Wifi Card
My recently-acquired 2009 MacPro was built at a time when wifi was still an optional add-on for Apple. Adding a wifi card to a Mac Pro can be daunting because of the tight quarters and numerous screws to be removed. But this upgrade was relatively simple, in spite of warning on several mac fix-it sites. After locating the wifi slot, one merely needed to move the antenna wires out of the road and secure the card with the provided screws. The trick comes with selecting the right antenna wires, in this case Wires 1 and 3, and plugging them onto the card terminals. The latter can be difficult because there is no room for fat fingers and the attachments are different than most mac users are accustomed to using. My experience went smoothly and the card immediately was recognized upon re-boot and voila, I had bandwidth to use. Very simple, but patience is probably a good tool to have in your toolbox. Speaking of toolboxes, the supplied screwdriver with magnet was a welcome addition to this kit as the card attachment screws are tiny and easily lost without a magnetized tip to securely grab the screw. With all of the nooks and cranies of the Mac Pro, you do not want to be fishing for screws or lifting the forty pounds of magnificent aluminum above your melon, shaking it for a lost screw.
