Great plug-n-play HDMI capture and a good price point
This device is fully "plug-and-play" on MacOS 10.15 Catalina even on a Mac with only USB 2.0 ports. Do plug it direct into the computer as I tried with an old USB hub (probably not even 2.0) and had all kinds of problems. The video is usable in every app I've tried including QuickTime, OSB, Zoom, FaceTime, Skype and PhotoBooth. A minor drawback is no separate audio in which would have been useful but not essential for my use. If your camera isn't working check it's video out specs - one of mine is only 1080i not p and that doesn't seem to work.
