Avtex S1040 LCD TV.
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this TV as I have a cavity in the top bunk of my six berth caravan and this TV fits into it perfectly. I have two children who watch their own type of programmes and play console games. So when my wife and I are at one end of the van watching or doing our own thing, when the children get bored they can go and watch there own programmes or play their games. It also has a great little picture and runs of both 240v and 12v straight off the van battery. It is compact and easy to store taking up no space at all. If you see one buy one, new they are a bit pricey but get youself on e-bay and grab a bargain, its worth it.

Samsung HT-BD1252 5.1 Home Cinema System. Awesome bit of kit.
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this product as I was looking for an all in one entertainment system that would play DVD/Blu Ray and CD music. It also came with an iphone/ipod docking station so the options are variable and you are not tied down to one or two formats.
It comes with two tall boy front speakers a centre speaker a sub woofer and two surround satellite speakers all very discreet and lightweight. Each speaker having its own output marked on the back of the unit.
Without looking at the manual it took me no more then half an hour if that to set it all up and have sound coming out of the system it is that easy to set up. On screen instruction are easy to understand and it has a step by step white noise function to adjust speaker volumes to optimise sound and surround effects.
Picture quality when watching DVD or Blu Ray through an HDMI cable is excellent, clear and crisp. If watching a programme or film through SKY or Virgin you can connect your TV to the 1252 using an optical cable to listen to it with surround sound.
Sound reproduction in my opinion is punchy and crisp with a little too much mid range for my liking but hey everyone has different audio settings and likings.
I also have the WiFi box for the rear speakers which is a god send as means no trailing wires or trying to hide cables only to find that when you get to the receiver you are inches short. No sound quality is lost and sits behind your sofa unnoticed.
Connections at the back of the main unit are versatile giving you all the options you need to get started without the need to rush out and by cables straight away.
There is not much else that I can tell you about this unit but if you are thinking of buying one and have read reviews by experts that look for perfection in everything from a jack plug to the top of the range entertainment systems don't let them put you off as if I had listened to them I would still be looking today.

Thunder Live DVD/CD
This Thunder DVD is of the highest quality and you get an audio CD as a bonus. Normally if you bought this in a DVD/music store you would expect to pay £10 to £20.00 but on e-bay this was a mere £2.95. This is nota copy but the genuine article. You get a chapter bookley as well other releases catalogue from the company.
