Price/performance is great for multicore heavy programs.

Works like I expected
It works just like I expected. I have bought other adapters which have not so if you have an old IDE device and you only have SATA ports then get this. It also works for DVD/CD drives as well as hard drives. Just remember to set the jumper setting on device to cable select for it to work.
