Quiet and powerfull
0 of 1 found this helpful I have three elitebooks from HP, 2560, 2570 and this 840 G3. All three are very good. This 840 is little better on everything that the two older, but only a little, because I did upgrade the older ones with more memory and SSD hard drives.
When looking at the figures from Windows performance testing, ist clear that the graphic card is the "buttle neck". I don't use my computer for playing, so I cant tell how bad they are. For my use, they are good enough. They play all the films and videos very well.
Price for the 840 G3 is twice the price for the older Elitebooks, but it's worth it. All the USB3 connections are faster etc. Make sure that your computer will have a SSD drive and lot of memory.

Like new, but not tested yet
I bought this unit as a spare part for the future. It is not tested yet but looks much better than my 5 years old one. I have a XWD need service warning on my 2011 SAAB, so it might be needed soon. It looks exactly as my unit and the numbers match as well, so it should be OK.

Great value for the money.

The scanner works well. It gives pictures with good resolution for computer screens. You save work when there is no need for chancing the resolution, which is the case with very high resolutions. You save also space in the computer.
