Buy ink separately - cartridges which come with the printer do not work even though HP
4 of 4 found this helpful Printer comes with HP Inks - as advertised - but these are "Set Up" Inks and so printer will not work with them. No idea what their purpose in life is but they don't work for printing. Fortunately had separately purchased some ink cartridges which the printer linked.
HP is an INK company with a side business in printers - I sort of knew that - but expected their own inks which come with the printer to have some function.
