Very Good Compilation
10 CDs with 14 tracks on each. Nicely packaged in a book-style box, with a track listing for each disc. All original artists and recordings. A great mix of music from the 50's and 60's. I am very familiar with the Collectables label, and they know very well how to put a compilation together. Whether you are a new collector or filling in gaps in yor collection, this just might work out for you.

Dion's Troubled Life, Part One
I am just "discovering" Dion. When he and the Belmonts were first hitting the charts, I was only about 4 years old, however, later hits were there in my young "rear-view mirror". What really caught my ear is when I heard the double CD "Dion, The Road I'm On, A Retrospective". That's when I sat up and listened.
This book, while not really well-written, will at least fill you in on facts and feelings from his viewpoint. Who knew Dion was using heroin at the age of 13? He was certainly a troubled young person and adult. I can see that writing this story would be a major catharsis for him.
