Brakes too easy

I swore to myself after the 5th one broke I was not going to buy another one of these. Problem is my Timneh loves it. I have bought a total of 6 costing around £25 each which is extremely a lot of money on an item that brakes. The tread on the back that holds this to the cage snaps very easily . I can’t justify buying another regardless if my parrot loves it or not. Shame the clip isn’t made more durable.
