Powerful performances captured live in a studio environment featuring orchestra and choir. Powerful stuff.
This is a hard to classify album. Not a rock album, a mix of balladish tunes and grooves. No band, recorded with a small orchestra, choir, son Elroy on most tracks, brother Tim on one track. The whole album was recorded in one evening, in a 4 hr session broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook. The live recording gives a unique feel to the album, and you can feel some real powerful moments from this. The usual well written array of songs from Neil. The recording technique gives it a restrained, yet unquestionably powerful feel. Everyone is listening very closely and aware of whats going on around them, making sure not to step on any toes while adding their contributions to a very deep sound. A must for all Finn fans, recording aficionados and fans of well written and constructed songs.
