One of the greatest and most influential horror movies ever made!
If you are a horror movie fan and have never seen this tremendous classic you need to watch it somehow now. This film being from the 70’s and made on a modest budget adds to its charm and realism. Although not a found footage film the movie does feel very real. The protagonists are quite basic but their not the main attraction. (Plot) Sally, her wheel chair bound brother Franklyn and their friends are out in the camper for a trip across rural Texas. After hearing about some local grave robberies, the gang continue their trip to Sally’s relatives old house in the middle of no where. They arrive after being freaked out by an insane hitchhiker. Night is approaching Sally & Franklyn are waiting for their friends who ventured out for a look around. Soon they will come to realise they are in the clutches of a leather faced chainsaw wielding maniac and his blood thirsty family. Everything about this film is awesome from the isolated secluded setting to the subtle social commentary regarding rural America. You have to appreciate what this movie has done for the genre over the past 40 years. The suspense and macabre make up for the lack of blood and gore. Way before Freddy,Jason,Chucky, Jigsaw and Ghostface came Leatherface. So make sure you witness one of the most bizarre and influential crimes in the history of cinema. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The film was also banned in the UK for twenty years or so. Unmissable and it gets better with age. Classic!

Magnificent release for a wonderful Argento masterpiece.
The 4K upgrade is well worth it especially if your a fan. The set is packed with extras too and is a solid package as expected from Arrow.
The movie itself is wonderfully bizarre with an awesome Goblin produced score.

Great condition!
Disk is in great condition, received it quickly. I was pleasantly surprised it was the arrow release and has a reversible sleeve with different art work. Again many thanks.
