After reading many complementary reviews of Vax machines I decided to try one after many years as Dyson customer and I only wish I'd done it sooner. I bought a Vax pet reconditioned one from this company, it was about £60 which was half the price of a new one and I couldn't be more delighted, it's fab, especially for the money, it was a bargain. My parents had bought a similar one a few months earlier from another retailer and paid twice the price so they were amazed.
So when our shop vacuum burnt out we decided to buy this one.
It's great for the price, it's lovely and light and it does the job but I've got to admit it is very basic compared to my other one. We have hard cord carpeted floors so I'm not sure how it would cope with deep pile carpets.
I do prefer my other one, it has few more features on and seems a bit stronger suction. So if you can afford to it might pay to spend the little extra with this company... X

After many years as a devoted Dyson customer but could no longer afford them I read many complementary reviews of Vax machines and decided to try one. My parents had bought one a few months earlier from another retailer and we're really impressed with it but it cost them about £200. I couldn't afford that, then I found this company.
I bought this reconditioned one and I only wish I'd done it sooner! The only negative I read was that when you pull the vacuum backwards it's a bit heavy... I've found that's it's only because it's suction is so good and I don't see this as a negative at all.
It's lovely and light and I love the brush on /off switch on the top which stops if anything accidentally gets caught.
Despite suffering from serious health issues affecting my mobility in the latter few months I now find myself vacuuming more often now it is not such a nightmare battle with a heavy monster. I have 2 dogs and I find it gets the dog hair out of the carpet.
Switching to use the long handle tool also couldn't be easier.
And because it was reconditioned ( which you couldn't tell) I got it for less than half price!!! It seemed to good to be true but I couldn't be happier. I'm team Vax all the way now!!! 😀
