Behmor repeated failure
3 of 4 found this helpful Don't get me wrong. I like the little roaster. This is my second one and as far as roasting, it does a good job. So why the critical title? The smoke suppressor. An absolute failure. In my first roaster, I repaired it a number of times. Behmor knows this has been an ongoing problem, yet my new roaster has the smoke suppressor fail on the third batch of coffee. Sure, it takes about an hour to remove it and repair it, if you are a handy person. The most annoying feature is the "unattended" auto shut down. A minor 30 second distraction and your roast is ruined. Service? No one, I say again, no one will talk to you. All tech service is done by email, and they are not apologetic about it. Overall I like the machine as I have bought a second one. But I wish they would fix the smoke suppressor.
