Well written. We are what we eat, bathe in, consume.
Broad and easily understood descriptions about nearly all additives and adjuncts to foods, cleaners, water, etc.

Excellent & factual stories about ongoing global threats of snowballing communicable diseases.
Very well written - reasoned, technical, and very understandable.
This is one of those "Can't put down..." compilations of stories about a possible impending threat - the possibilities, the reality of the story line - are as true as it was when it was written.
Frightening. Informative. Excellently written.
I highly recommend it. I work in a hospital & shared the book - everyone loved it. Hand washing and glove wearing increased exponentially.
My very favorite work of disease related non-fiction - the perfect exploration of the dichotomies of virus development, pandemic prevention and government efforts to manage the potential for outbreaks, perhaps, against the odds - to prevent the unfathomable.
