what i needed
would have given 5 stars but the steel ring is thin and soft. so its easy to bend. i drilled more holes in mine so i could spread the load better and it came out nice. nice rubber boot. seems like its made tough.

took my brewing from blue collar too white collar, thanks Dave!
ive been home brewing for a while using simple extract kits.so i got this book to learn more about all grain brewing. ive been doing 1gal all grain batches of my own design, and suprisingly havent made any that were undrinkable. in fact they were quite good. but still nervous to attempt anything larger. if your a novice or a seasoned homebrewer, this book is a must have for every reason. Dave Miller gives the homebrewer all they need to brew great beer, and have fun doing it. it also has many great recipes of popular styles. those alone are worth the book, much less the knowledge it gives you. i wonder where id be in my brewing now if i had this book 3 years ago.

YES YES YES! packed with recipes.....thank you beer gods!
like it says, its a collection of tried and true recipes collected from all over. if your a novice or seasoned, this book has great beers waiting for you to discover and enjoy. no need to calculate/formulate a recipe and hope you made a tasty brew. follow the recipe and drink tasty homebrew. i havent made any of them yet. but i have looked through many, and am anxious to start my first,a barleywine. then a stout, though havent picked which one yet. theres so many to choose from,i want to make them all ahhhhh haaa haa ha!
