Looks to be a quality piece of kit
2 of 2 found this helpful When we first bought a folding camper I bought an awning light from a local supplier. This was never really a great product and started falling apart almost immediately so this year I decided it was time to replace it.
In the last few years this type of lighting has come on in leaps and bounds, with fluorescent tubes steadily giving ground to LEDs. This Kampa light gives the impression of being a nice quality product: the light itself feels solid, it comes with a decent length of cable, can be run both from mains and 12V and has a remote control to boot. The only slight negative is that if you don't have a Kampa awning with its dedicated mounts I can see that getting it to point downwards with the supplied fittings could be a little tricky.
I've not used this in earnest yet but I have no doubt it's going to be a big improvement over our old light.

A great camera with superb editing software. Battery life not so great, though.
I'm using this as a helmet camera during my ride to work and so far it's doing all that I could have expected. I've dialled the image quality back from 1080p to 720p initially to extend the battery life. However, even on this lower resolution the image quality is very good - much sharper than my previous action cam (Contour 1080p). Primarily I wanted it for the video but it's a real bonus that it has built in GPS and also connects to the Garmin speed, cadence and HR sensors I have on my bike. It also doesn't need a separate waterproof case and the mounts are GoPro compatible. Video is also much steadier than with the Contour as well.
The biggest surprise, though, was Garmin's Virb Edit software, which is both good and easy to use. It allows you to easily combine data from all your sensors into an overlay on the video, makes cropping, splitting and combining clips a doddle and apparently can also add music although I've not tried this feature yet.
The only slight negative is the battery life. Garmin claim 2 hours on 1080p but I rather doubt this. After my first ride home - roughly 1½ hours - the battery was on it's last bar. It's true that Li batteries tend to improve after the first couple of uses so I may try again now that it's run in. I avoided a number of cheaper cameras because the battery wouldn't have made it so I'm deducting 1 start for that. Using 720p does extend the life substantially and I think I'd certainly get 2 hours on that setting.

Nice quality cables
These appear to be very nice quality cables available in a variety of lengths and colours. I ordered three cables in two different colours and lengths so that I could see which length I was picking up by the colour. Only time will tell if they are as well made inside as they appear but so far they have worked flawlessly. Having a 3m cable is very useful for charging a device whilst continuing to use it.
I've got to admit that if I'd noticed I was ordering from Hong Kong I probably would have gone elsewhere; it's not that I have anything against Hong Kong but postage times and customs charges are both quite variable. However, the cables arrived very quickly and with no hassle. I've been sufficiently impressed that I've ordered some more.
