About the book, not the seller. Schulz is a modernist puzzle piece, not a modernist puzzle
Schulz would have been ranked one of top 3 modernists, alongside Joyce and Kafka, had he been allowed to live, to write more. He still is, in my opinion, though has simply not got the track record to prove it definitively for those who might consider a third. To me, he is bright sided Kafka, drenched in dream though based in the real. Whereas Kafka makes his dreams reality, Schulz represents a reality thick with symbolism, and therefore represents reality as a dream. This reverse engineering of Kafka as well as his use of symbolism and the generally living quality of his prose makes him, in my opinion, the quintessential meeting place of the two modernist heavyweights.

Great book
Great book. Very psychoanalytic but in a way that is both normalized and profound.
