Not used for what you might think
Having owned one of these since they were first on the market (?30+ years ago) I have now bought several more. I don't use them to warm my hands, or any other part of my body. I am a photographer. I travel worldwide and sometimes visit locations where the temperature can go down to -50C. Camera batteries immediately die at that temperature. I use a thermally insulated camera bag and several (about 4) of the lit hand warmers inside the bag to keep the temperature above freezing. They work really well and last for at least 8 hours each. This extends the life, and charge, on the batteries considerably.
Only disadvantage of this brand is that they only supply one charcoal stick with each hand warmer. Extra sticks can be bought separately.

I have not read a bad, or critical, review of this camera. Body is compatable with all Pentax K Range lenses.
