I am a private seller.
I have been a sewer since I was 8, making mine, my mother's and grandmother's clothes since I was 13. I've been a patchwork quilter for 45 years. I've been a toymaker, knitter and dabbled with crochet for more years than I care to mention. I also enjoy painting and am now into modern abstract art.
I used to have a needlecrafts and knitting shop.
I am a mum of 6, a wife and an obsessive gardener, with 1.4 acres to tend. I grow my own cut flowers, veg and perennials. I have a wildlife garden, for the bees and butterflies. I enjoy watching the birds, deer, hares around my garden and in the fields beyond. We live in a lovely house surrounded by fields and orchards. The sound of birdsong is enchanting.
We have 5 grandchildren.
My husband's and my health is problematic with increasing age. Time I sent a lot of my crafting products to good homes, where others can enjoy them. This helps fund the care for our 7 rescue kitties, 2 dogs and 8 chickens.
