Ibanez AVT1NT Tenor guitar
2 of 2 found this helpful I like the small body, easy to hold and play. Even though small, has nice tone and richness. Hopefully the solid spruce top will mature well. I also like the skinny neck, very easy to fret. Fit and finish on mine was first class for an inexpensive instrument. Tried other brands with dreadnought bodies...slightly better volume, but bulky. This one is what I was seeking. Very cleanly put together inside and out. We will see how the longevity works out.

Great features for the Price
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as a replacement for my acoustic non-electric that suffered a pulled bridge. . I wanted a mahogany finish with the built-in electronics. It had to sound good plugged in, and had to have some ability to be an acoustic player as well. So I had misgivings about the tone and volume unplugged, especially because the body was only 3-1/4" deep, and the guitar was all laminate, but I took the risk. I was delighted by this guitar....it came strung with D'addario strings, the action was excellent, and the sound was quite acceptable to me. Even though it has less volume than a guitar with full depth, there are some advantages. The tone and volume of the notes are quite consistent up and down the scale. No 'boom' in the bass or mid range, no dead trebles as heard (or not) on some large bodied guitars. A great back porch strummer, or finger-style guitar. The tone is great. Played thru a mike, it's as good or better than anything I've owned in the last 50 years. And plugged in (thru my Kustom Sienna 30) it's a dream...folk, jazz, what have you, it can do it. Excellent electronics, with built-in tuner that mutes the signal while tuning. Very well put together and finished. For the price, this one's a bargain. We'll see if it stands the test of time.
