DAY OF FIRE.....JUST PLAIN GOOD ROCK
I FIRST SAW THIS BAND OPEN FOR DAUGHTRY BACK IN THE SUMMER OF 2008. THEY ARE A "CHRISTIAN ROCK BAND" ALTHOUGH ON THIS LATEST CD THEY ARE MORE MAINSTREAM. YOU CAN PICK UP A FEW RELIGIOUS THEME MESSAGES BUT NOT LIKE ON THEIR FIRST TWO CD'S(2004'S SELF TITLED DEBUT-WITH THE GREAT TUNE CORNERSTONE & 2006'S CUT & MOVE)ON THIS LATEST CD 2010'S LOSING ALL THEY MIX SOME GOOD ROCKERS(FIRST SINGLE "LATELY" & "LIGHT 'EM UP) WITH SOME MID-TEMPO/BALLADS("AIRPLANE" & "HELLO HEARTACHE") IS IT ME OR DOES "LATELY" AND A FEW OTHERS HAVE A STONE TEMPLE PILOTS VIBE GOING ON(BUT I DIG IT MAN, I DIG IT).SO IF YOUR A FAN OF NEW ROCK/ALT ROCK OF THE 90'S DAY OF FIRE IS A GOOD MIX OF THE TWO = A STILL FOR THE MOST PART UNDISCOVERED BAND. BUY THIS CD AND TURN YOUR FRIENDS ONTO THEM.....PEACE OUT!

100 Tears and 100 flying body parts.................
I was looking for this title a long time before i purchased it....a very hard dvd to track down. Released in 2008 only one ebay seller had it at the time of purchase and you can forget finding it at the likes of walmart, family video and etc. I would best describe this movie as a low budget bloodbath....numerous head and other body parts chopped off. Some of the carnage is comical and some of it is rather convincing. I would have rated this movie excellent but as mentioned earlier being low budget it does have it's short comings...comedy mixed in that doesn't work at times, scene cuts that don't flow well together. As for the plot i'll make it easy...a clown serial killer hacking everybody to pieces and two tabloid reporters hot on the case plus you get a surprise relative thrown in the mix all = one of the goriest movie experiences you'll ever have. Sure to be a cult classic and will probably get even better with repeated viewings. PICK IT UP IF YOU CAN FIND IT BEFORE IT'S OUT OF PRINT...or maybe it already is !
