Small enough for 1:16 scale

I have a number of these tiny, delicate terracotta vases - at least one each of the diferent designs. I have several 1:16 scale dolls houses set in the mid-1960s. The vases fit into the period perfectly, and being so small means that their size is right for the 3/4 scale, too.

Bought to replace a similar "Big Digit" ...

Bought to replace a similar "Big Digit" timer which had developed a fault after 25 years of use. Sadly, it isn't a success because the alarm itself is barely audible over the clattering pots and pans, or if the kettle, tumble dryer, washing machine or food processor are in use at the same time. My husband has hearing loss in both ears: he can't hear it at all. I don't know if every one of these is as quiet as this, or if this one is faulty: either way, the one I've bought isn't fit for purpose.
