Givi Top Box for S1000XR
The box itself is well made and a nice size for the bike, so blends in well on the bike. The base plate when fitted to the bike blends in so well it looks like a stock part, so bike looks fine without box fitted. The box itsef is a good size and big enough to take a large BMW System helmet, so should take any helmet. The mounting plate is the ideal size , though the fixing kit does not supply the required fixing bolts for the S1000XR Sport SE tail mounting. This is easily fixed by removing two standard bolts holding the XR top box base plate to the frame and getting two slightly longer ones (+10mm) to afix the Givi mounting plate on top of the standard XR plate, no drilling required, just need to acquire the two bolts. Even with two bolts holding it it feels solid and no play at all. Givi should consider supplying the longer bolts to suit XR mounting.

Philips DVDR7260H Long Term experience
I had one of these for over a year. There have been several instances of the device having what I can only describe as "blonde" moments. The have been several instances where a program is selected via the GuidePlus for recording only to find its recorded completely the wrong channel. GuidePlus is a fool proof program selection interface, if it was implemented properly. Just recently my DVDR7260H decided to "self delete" about 10 films/programs and merge several programs into two mega files over one 6 hours long and the other 4 hours long. The first one I purchased I took back because it would randomly decide not to turn on, even though the display indicated it was receiving a transmission from the remote control. To add to my torment it would in standby randomly start and then return to standby. The other irritation that this particular one was prone to loosing all the GuidePlus data and program information, on the third instance, within two weeks of purchase, I took it back. Personally I would not recommend one, the embedded firmware appears to still have several bugs in it. In my personal opinion, it's only just acceptable.
