Super useful and fun small camera.
2 of 2 found this helpful This "SD1100 IS" replaced my older Canon, the SD200. Although the function buttons are a bit different, it works about the same, but with additional features. At 8 megapixels the photos are sharper. It also has a time-lapse video feature that is fun to use at family events to compress an hour or so into a minute or two of video. The digital macro works very well for extreme close-up photos, and the Image Stabilization (IS) feature helps get very sharp photos without a tripod. Overall a superb little camera that can be used as a "point and shoot" for high quality photos, and can also be used by a photo enthusiast for more complex purposes. It looks good, too!!

Tiny and powerful, great USB drive for newer car audio of ripped CD music.
I bought this to put ripped CD music files onto, for playing in my 2015 car via the USB port. It is tiny, inserted it only sticks out less than 1/4 inch, to be exact, 3/16 inch, so it is not even noticeable unless you are looking closely for it. It has a tiny light that glows when you insert it, to show that it has made proper electrical contact. At 8GB storage for less than $8, I will be able to store anywhere from 100 to 300 CDs of music, depending on what ripping quality I use. I doubt that I will fill it up, but if I did I could buy a larger one, up to 32GB or even 64GB. The ONLY disadvantage, the part that protrudes is so small that it can be difficult removing it from a USB port. Which isn't really an issue because I plan to keep it plugged into my car's USB port. It has a slight ridge so a plastic car fuse-puller would probably work on it. Overall a mighty impressive small storage device for little more than spare change!
